This commercial was met with tremendous enthusiasm globally. Several countries including Indonesia, Greece, Singapore, Brazil, Egypt, South Africa and the Czech Republic imported the creative. "Pour" received its highest recognition when the US brand team replaced their existing TV inventory in order to run the spot across the country, marking the first time an international Coke spot had been adapted for the US market.

As the Molson Canadian brand aged, its franchise grew older right along with it. To offset this, it needed to attract the entry level drinker. The historic I Am Canadian campaign was born. Today the campaign is preserved in the Canadian Advertising Museum.
